Music is a special case. Tracks offered as free downloads are for personal listening, personal sharing, and DJ use. All rights in the recording and the composition are fully reserved. This is not public domain or royalty-free music. Performance rights stay subject to collection by the local rights organizations.

You may, at no cost: listen and download, play it in your DJ sets, and share it directly with friends.

You may not, without a prior written license: sell, re-upload, or release it as your own; use it commercially; sync, sample, or remix it without approval; or do anything unlawful with it.

Licenses are required for sync (film, video, advertising, games, platforms like YouTube), sampling, official remixes, and public performance. Playing in clubs, venues, on radio, or via streaming can still trigger collecting-society fees (Buma/Stemra, SACEM, ASCAP, SADAIC), which stay the responsibility of the organizer, venue, or broadcaster. This free option is simply a way to give fans fast, friendly access. Abuse it and the rights holders (labels, publishers, partners, collaborators) may come after you. Making a file easy to access does not change who owns it. Treat it like music you bought and you will be fine.
